Emadeb Filling Station, Ibadan-Oyo
15kVA solar installation powering fuel dispensing and retail operations.
The Challenge
The Emadeb filling station in Ibadan relied on a 60kVA diesel generator to power fuel pumps, canopy lighting, POS systems, and air conditioning for the retail shop. Grid power was available only 1–2 hours daily, forcing generator use for 10–12 hours per day.
Diesel consumption for power alone was costing over ₦1,500,000 monthly, cutting directly into fuel retail margins.
Our Solution
We installed a 15kVA hybrid solar system with 32kWh battery backup. The system powers all dispensing equipment, lighting, and shop operations from solar during the day, with battery backup handling evening and early morning operations.
A compact 30-panel array on the station canopy generating clean power.
