The Challenge

The IBIS Bottled Water Factory operated three diesel generators running total of about 12-18 hours daily to power bottle washers, filling lines, UV sterilization, shrink wrapper, reverse osmosis machine, pet blower, cold storage, and office operations. Monthly diesel costs exceeded ₦4.2 million, with frequent engine failures causing production downtime and missed delivery deadlines.

Generator noise and fumes created an uncomfortable work environment, and rising diesel prices were eroding already thin manufacturing margins.

Our Solution

We engineered and installed a 100kVA off-grid solar power plant with 122.4kWh lithium battery storage. The system was sized to handle peak loads of 90kVA during bottle washing and filling cycles while maintaining reserve for overnight cold storage.

The installation features 100 high-efficiency monocrystalline panels, a 100kVA pure sine wave industrial inverter, and climate-controlled battery housing engineered for Nigerian heat and humidity.
